1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 P, AWDSECTION Wiper Switch

Wiper switch is incorporated into multifunction switch on steering column and is not serviced separately. Replace wiper switch if resistance is not as specified. See WIPER SWITCH RESISTANCE TEST TABLE. See Fig 1 .

(1) Rotate (INT) interval knob from minimum to maximum. Resistance should gradually increase from 3.3 k/ohms (MIN) to 103.3 k/ohms (MAX).
