Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Installation

Connect air bag module wiring connector to clockspring connector. Position air bag module to steering wheel and secure with screw and washer assemblies. See Figure . Tighten air bag module screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  . Install steering wheel spoke covers. Activate SRS. Ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKΒ  .
