- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASEΒ . Using Spring Lock Coupling Remover (D87L-9280-A for 3/8" or D87L-9280-B for 1/2"), remove retaining clip from coupling. Place remover over coupling so protrusion is positioned on cage opening side of coupling. See Fig 1.
- Close remover over coupling. Push remover into cage opening to release female fitting from garter spring. Separate male and female halves of coupling. Remove tool from disconnected spring lock coupling.
