  1. Check Accessory Delay PID: Using New Generation Star (NGS) tester, access ACCDLY from PID menu. If PID reads SHORTVBAT, go to next step. If PID does not read SHORTVBAT, replace accessory delay relay.
  2. Check Fuse Junction Panel: Disconnect fuse panel connector C1. See Figure . Measure voltage between ground and delay relay socket terminal No. 85. If battery voltage exists, replace fuse junction panel. If battery voltage does not exist, replace GEM.
