Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove the instrument panel support. Position the heater duct assembly away from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Remove the PCM electrical connector bolt. Pull the connector from the PCM and position aside. Remove the two PCM bolts. Remove the PCM from behind the instrument panel. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the PCM electrical connector bolt until the Red projection appears.
