Removal (Driver Or Passenger)

1995 Mercury Villager GS, Van PassengerSECTION Removal (Driver Or Passenger)
  1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove under seat storage drawer. Move the front seat fully forward.
  2. NOTE: Front seat and front seat track assembly is removed separately from front seat support assembly.
  3. Remove the rear 2 front seat track-to-front seat support assembly bolts. See Fig 1 .

  4. Move front seat fully forward. Remove 2 front seat track-to-front seat support assembly bolts. See Fig 2 .

  5. Disconnect seat regulator control switch or seat back control switch connector under front seat adjuster. See Fig 3 .

  6. Slide front safety belt retractor and tongue out of front seat cushion side shield. Remove front seat and front seat track assembly from vehicle.
  7. Remove the front seat support assembly from the vehicle.
