Volume Airflow (VAF) Meter

This sensor is located within the air cleaner housing. It sends intake airflow data to the PCM. The PCM uses this signal for calculating fuel metering. The VAF may also be referred to as a Vane Airflow Meter.

When to See a Mechanic
