NOTE: Enter this test only when directed here from QUICK TESTS.
MIL CIRCUIT PIN IDENTIFICATION

Switch PCM Pin BOB Pin Wire Color
MIL 1A 51 YEL/BLK

1)  Turn ignition off. Install BOB, leaving PCM disconnected. Turn ignition on. Ground BOB test pin. If MIL light comes on, MIL circuit is okay. If codes do not flash on MIL during QUICK TEST or MIL never comes on, temporarily substitute known good PCM and retest. If MIL light stays off, go to next step.

2)  Turn ignition off. Remove instrument panel connector (8-pin connector). Remove and inspect bulb. If bulb is okay, go to next step. If necessary, replace bulb.

3)  Turn ignition off. Inspect for shorts or grounds in MIL wire between instrument panel connector and BOB test pin. If any defects exist, repair wire. If wire is okay, replace the instrument panel printed circuit board.
