1992 Mercury Tracer Base, 4D Wagon, AutomaticSECTION Description

Steering system is rack and pinion type. See Fig 1. Steering gear is connected to steering knuckles with tie rods. Input shaft connects to the steering shaft with double "U" joint intermediate shaft. Inner tie rod ball joints are preset and are not adjustable.
