- Check 15-amp audio fuse. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, replace fuse. If fuse blows again, check for short to ground in Green/White wire at side mirror switch connector. See Fig 1 .
- Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage on Green/White wire at side mirror switch connector. If voltage does not exist, repair Green/White wire between fuse panel and side mirror switch.
- If voltage exists, check for continuity between ground and Black wire of side mirror switch. If continuity is not present, repair Black wire between side mirror switch and ground. If continuity is present, see SIDE MIRROR SWITCH TESTΒ under TESTING. Replace switch as necessary. If mirror switch is okay, see SIDE MIRROR MOTOR TEST.
