Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove intake manifold. SeeREMOVAL & INSTALLATION in 1.9L 4-CYLINDER article in ENGINES. Remove CMP sensor mounting screws and CMP sensor from cylinder head. SeeFig 1. To install, replace "O" ring. Install CMP sensor and retaining screws. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CMP sensor screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
