Fuel Injector Circuit

1991 Mercury Tracer Base, 4D Sedan, AutomaticSECTION Fuel Injector Circuit

Disconnect all injector harness connectors. Using digital ohmmeter, check resistance across terminals of each injector. See INDIVIDUAL INJECTOR RESISTANCE  . Disconnect injector bank harness connector and check resistance of injector bank. See INJECTOR BANK RESISTANCE  . Repair wiring or any injector not within specification.

All Others 13.0-16.0
(1) Resistance values are for a single injector.
INJECTOR BANK RESISTANCE

2.3L HSC 6.0-8.0
2.3L OHC 7.0-9.5
3.0L 5.0-6.5
