- Clean all dirt from band adjusting screw area. Remove and discard adjusting screw lock nut. Install a new lock nut on adjusting screw, leaving lock nut loose.
- Tighten band adjusting screw to 10 ft. lbs. (14 N.m). Back off adjusting screw EXACTLY 2 turns. Hold adjusting screw in this position and tighten lock nut to 40 ft. lbs. (54 N.m). See Fig 1 .
