Wiper Motor Current Draw: Mustang

- Disconnect battery negative cable. Disconnect linkage and electrical plug from wiper motor. Connect Green ammeter lead from Rotunda Starting and Charging Tester (07800005) to battery positive post.
- Attach jumper wire from ground terminal on connector A to body ground. Connect positive (Red) lead from tester to low-speed terminal on connector A. See Fig 1. Read current draw.
- Remove positive (Red) tester lead from low-speed terminal and connect positive lead to high-speed terminal at connector A. See Fig 1. Current draw should not exceed 3 amperes in either test.
