- Ensure cable and kickdown return spring are installed at transmission kickdown lever. Remove clip in cable adjuster located at accelerator bracket fitting.
- Rotate carburetor throttle lever to wide open throttle position. While holding throttle at wide open throttle, install clip in kickdown cable adjuster.
