- Disconnect control module 4-wire connector and inspect for dirt, corrosion or damage. Connect ohmmeter leads to connector terminals that mate with Orange and Purple control module wires.
- Resistance should be 400-1, 300 ohms. If so, proceed to "CONTROL MODULE TO DISTRIBUTOR WIRING HARNESS CHECK ". If resistance is not to specifications, proceed to "PICK-UP COIL RESISTANCE CHECK ".
