1966 Mercury Capri Not Available, 4.7L Eng VIN ASECTION Cleaning & Inspection

Clean all castings and metal parts in cleaning solution (plastic fast idle cam and air valve spring cover can be cleaned in the solution but floats and gaskets should not be immersed in the solution). Rinse parts in hot water, soak in gasoline, and dry with air. Blow out all passages, jets, and tubes with air. Inspect all parts for wear, distortion or damage. Make certain power valve piston and rod move freely.
