1 Bring up workshop level on instrument cluster Β 
2 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15) There may be no fault messages in the multifunction display (4)
3 Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select menu item "ASSYST PLUS" in the multifunction display (4) See Figure
4 Confirm selection of "ASSYST PLUS" by pressing on the finger navigation pad (3) The tabs are shown on the multifunction display (4): "Service data", "Full service", "Vehicle handover"
5 Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm the "Full Service" menu item in the multifunction display (4) The current service items are shown on the multifunction display (4)
6 Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm the "Conform Serv." menu item in the multifunction display (4) The oil selection or "Service carried out?" is shown on the multifunction display (4)
7 Select and confirm specification for engine oil used using swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) For vehicle with oil selection:
In order to achieve the maximum kilometer interval, engine oil for gasoline engines must be used and confirmed as per Specifications for Operating Fluids sheet 229.5 and engine oil for diesel engines must be used and confirmed as per Specifications for Operating Fluids sheet 229.51.
8 Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm the "Yes" menu item in the multifunction display (4) "Reversal not possible" is shown on the multifunction display (4)
9 Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad to select and confirm the "Confirmation" menu item in the multifunction display (4) "Full service completed" appears on the multifunction display (4):
If the service is not performed or only partly performed after resetting the maintenance computer the maintenance computer has to be reset to the default value again
10 Close workshop level on instrument cluster
