The augmented reality camera (1) records the area in front of the vehicle. It is located in front of the inside rearview mirror, at the top center of the windshield behind a trim.

Function requirements

• Video image request from multimedia system control system

Function 

The video image provided by the augmented reality camera (1) is used to perform the following functions:

• Route guidance with augmented reality (AR)
• Front camera video recording
