Update Fuel System Control Module Software
This Service Campaign has been initiated because Daimler AG (DAG), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on the affected vehicles, the software does not correspond to current specifications. It is possible that the Fuel System Control Unit fault memory behavior may malfunction. This could lead to incorrectly displayed diagnosis results, or the inability to delete results when using the OBD tester. To remedy this situation, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the fuel system control module software at the next workshop visit.
Prior to performing this Service Campaign:
- Please check VMI to determine if the vehicle is involved in the Campaign and if it has been previously repaired.
