REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) IMPORTANT KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) only with code (889) KEYLESS-GO.  
2 Open center armrest and pull out cigarette lighter heating element (2) from housing (4) of cigarette lighter with ashtray illumination (R3)    
3 Release housing (4) with pliers (01) and pull out of spring pin (3) IMPORTANT The studs of the pliers (01) must engage in the cutouts (arrows A) of the housing (4). Only pull out enough so that the electrical connector (5) is accessible.
SPECIAL TOOL Pliers

4 Disconnect electrical connector (5)    
5 Unclip spring pin (3) and remove INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Check for correct installation position of spring pin (3).  
6 Install in the reverse order
