Interior lights (IBL), function - GF82.20-P-0002C
MODEL 203
The following is included in the scope of interior lights
- The overhead control panel control unit (N70) with integrated front dome lamp (N70e1), left front reading lamp (N70e2), and right front reading lamp (N70e3)
- The rear dome lamp (E15/3) with integrated left reading lamp (E15/3e1) (except model 203.7), right reading lamp (E15/3e2) (except model 203.7), and dome lamp (E15/3e3)
- The left front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3)
- The right front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/4)
- The left rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/5) (except model 203.7)
- The right rear door entrance/exit lamp (E17/6) (except model 203.7)
- The front ashtray illumination (E9/7)
- The rear ashtray illumination (E9/10)
- The glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2)
- The right luggage compartment lamp (E18/4)
- The left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5)
- The left vanity mirror illumination (E14/1)
- The right vanity mirror illumination (E14/2)
- The center air outlet illumination (E10/1)
- The left air outlet illumination (E10/2)
- The right air outlet illumination (E10/3)
- The ambient lamp (A67e3) (as of 24.4.04)
The central control unit for the interior lighting is the overhead control panel control unit (N70). It receives switch-on signals, evaluates them and triggers the corresponding lamp actuation.
The following illumination elements are supplied with voltage via the exterior lights (circuit 58):
- The front ashtray illumination (E9/7)
- The rear ashtray illumination (E9/10)
- The glove compartment illumination with switch (E13/2)
The following illumination elements are actuated by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2):
- The right luggage compartment lamp (E18/4)
- The left luggage compartment lamp (E18/5)
