- Turn ignition on. SRS warning lights should come on for 3-4 seconds, then go out. If light remains on, or does not come on at all, a fault exists in system.
- If, a fault occurs in system while ignition is on, SRS warning light will flash for about 5 minutes and then stay lit. On vehicles equipped with a central warning light, if air bag is deployed, SRS warning light will flash for about 5 seconds and then stay lit.
