Hydraulic Unit: Installation
1993 Mercedes Benz 400ESECTION Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure hydraulic unit does not contact body. Connect brakelines to hydraulic unit. Bleed brake system. Check for leaks. Brakeline identification codes are as follows:
- Code "V" is master cylinder-to-front brake circuit line.
- Code "H" is master cylinder-to-rear brake circuit line.
- Code "l" is hydraulic unit-to-left front brakeline.
- Code "r" is hydraulic unit-to-right front brakeline.
- Code "h" is hydraulic unit-to-rear brakeline.
