2023 Mazda CX-5 SSECTION Notes
NOTE:
- The down switch is built into the selector lever component.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Switch panel (See SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Cup holder (See CUP HOLDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the selector lever component connector.
- Verify that the continuity between selector lever component terminals F and H.
- If not as verified, replace the selector lever component. (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
