DETECTION CONDITION & POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Communication error between front body control module (FBCM) and instrument cluster
Detection condition
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) receives the error signals from the instrument cluster for 10 times continuously with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster.
  • DTCs are stored in the front body control module (FBCM).
  • Instrument cluster malfunction
  • Front body control module (FBCM) malfunction
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
