DTC U2300:54 (POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Configuration data not received from instrument cluster
Detection condition
  • The power liftgate (PLG) control module cannot receive configuration data from the instrument cluster with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).
Fail-safe
  • Stops the power liftgate (PLG) system operation.
Possible cause
NOTE:
  • To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the power liftgate (PLG) control module to the power liftgate (PLG) control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
  • DTCs are stored in the instrument cluster.
    • Instrument cluster configuration not implemented
    • Instrument cluster internal memory malfunction
  • Instrument cluster configuration data error
  • Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction
