- Remove the transmission from the engine. (See TRANSMISSION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) (See TRANSMISSION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove the following parts:
- The clutch unit (MT) see CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
- The ignition coil See IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
- The CMP sensor See CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
- The power steering oil pump (See POWER STEERING OIL PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- The fuel distributor and fuel injector (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- The intake-air system See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
- The exhaust system (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- The CKP sensor See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
- Remove the drive belt auto tensioner.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
