- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position.
- Turn the audio unit power to ON.
- While pressing the POWER/VOLUME switch, simultaneously press the PRESET switch 3 for 0.2 s or more.Β
- The center panel switch confirmation mode is now activated.DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE CHART
STEP INSPECTION ACTION 1 - Press each switch on the center panel.
- Does the buzzer sound when a switch is pressed?
Yes Verify the customer complaint and then go to the appropriate symptom troubleshooting procedure. No Go to the next step. 2 - Disassemble and reassemble the center panel and audio unit.
- Activate the center panel switch confirmation mode.
- Does the buzzer sound when a switch is pressed?
Yes Go to the next step. No Replace the center panel.
