Clutch Pedal Removal/Installation: Notes

CAUTION:
- Fluid will damage painted surfaces. Be careful not to spill any on painted surfaces. If it is spilled, wipe it off immediately.
- Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI TURBO] .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI TURBO] .)
- Remove the battery component. (ex: battery, battery tray and PCM component) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI TURBO] .)

- Separate the clutch pipe and reserve hose. (See CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- Fully depress the clutch pedal, and verify that the engine starts.
