Rear Power Window Regulator Removal/Installation
2013 Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, 2.3L Eng VIN 3SECTION Rear Power Window Regulator Removal/Installation
- Fully lower the rear door glass.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI TURBO] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
- Remove the rear door trim. (See REAR DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the service hole cover.
- Remove the rear door speaker. (See REAR DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the glass guide. (See REAR DOOR QUARTER GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Remove the rear power window motor. (See POWER WINDOW MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Remove the rear door glass. (See REAR DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Remove the nuts.
- Insert a hand through the speaker installation hole, rotate the drum housing in the direction shown in the figure to detach the tabs from the rear door module.
- Remove the rear power window regulator through the speaker installation hole.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.CAUTION: Make sure the cable does not unspool from the drum housing when installing.
