Bass-Box Inspection

2013 Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, 2.3L Eng VIN 3SECTION Bass-Box Inspection
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI TURBO] .) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0] .)
  2. Disconnect the connector. (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Verify the resistance between bass-box terminals.

    • If not within the specification, replace the bass-box.

    • 0.9-1.1 ohms
