2013 Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, 2.3L Eng VIN 3SECTION Notes
- Remove the following parts:
- Front scuff plate (LH) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front side trim (LH) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R] .) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] .) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R] .) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
- Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Set the hood release lever out of the way. (See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the lower panel. (driver-side) (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Measure the voltage according to the terminal voltage table.
- If the voltages cannot be verified as indicated in the terminal voltage table, inspect the parts under "Inspection item (s)".
- If the system does not work normally even though the parts or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the keyless receiver.
- If the voltages cannot be verified as indicated in the terminal voltage table, inspect the parts under "Inspection item (s)".
