- Remove the following parts:
- Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R] .)(See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] .)(See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R] .)(See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R] .)
- Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Accessory socket (rear) (See ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Connect a tester as shown in the figure and verify that there is continuity.
- If the continuity cannot be verified, replace the accessory socket (rear).
