- There are two methods of DTC inspection for the audio system: The on-board diagnostic test mode by operating the audio unit to activate the on-board diagnostic function, and using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [AUDIO] .)
CAUTION:
- Because there are DTCs which are not available in the on-board diagnostic test mode, the displayed DTC may differ depending on whether the on-board diagnostic test mode or the M-MDS is used. If there is a malfunction in the audio system even though a DTC is not displayed in the on-board diagnostic test mode, perform the DTC inspection using the M-MDS. (See DTC TABLE [AUDIO] .)
