DESCRIPTION  Communication error between rain sensor and BCM
DETECTION CONDITION 
  • BCM cannot receive the signal from rain sensor continuously for 10 times  .
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Rain sensor connector or terminals malfunction
  • BCM connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between rain sensor terminal A and BCM terminal 5I
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between rain sensor terminal A and BCM terminal 5I
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between rain sensor terminal A and BCM terminal 5I
  • Rain sensor malfunction
  • BCM malfunction
