Rear Seat Back Striker Removal/Installation

2013 Mazda 2 Touring, 1.5L Eng VIN Z, Automatic TransSECTION Rear Seat Back Striker Removal/Installation
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    2. Rear seat back (See REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ ).
    3. Rear seat cushion (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ ).
    4. Trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    5. Trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    6. C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the bolts, then remove the rear seat back striker in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
