Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Removal/Installation

2013 Mazda 2 Sport, 1.5L Eng VIN Y, Standard TransSECTION Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Removal/Installation
CAUTION:
  • The fuel tank pressure sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the fuel tank pressure sensor, replace it together with the evaporative hose component as a single unit.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor connector.
  3. Remove the wiring harness from the fuel tank pressure sensor bracket.
  4. Remove the evaporative hose from the charcoal canister bracket.
  5. Disconnect the quick release connectors and remove the evaporative hose component. (See QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR (EMISSION SYSTEM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
