2011 Mazda Tribute i Touring, FWDSECTION Vehicle Preparation
  1. Attach NGS Tester and access the ECT, FLI, and IAT PIDs.
  2. Verify the IAT PID is between 4-38Β°C (40-100Β°F).
  3. Verify the FLI PID is between 50% and 75%.
  4. Warm the vehicle until the ECT PID reaches a minimum of 77Β°C (170Β°F).
  5. Without returning to key OFF, clear all DTC's using NGS tester generic OBD II function. DTC P1000 will remain.
  6. Access the On-Board System Readiness Menu on the NGS Tester to view the status of the OBD II monitors.
  7. Proceed with the selected monitor repair verification drive cycle. Once started, the engine must not be turned off.
