TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

2011 Mazda RX-8 Sport, 1.3 2SECTION Notes
NOTE: After the replacement of the tire pressure sensor and/or the TPMS control unit, the tire pressure sensor's unique ID must be registered.

When the tire pressure warning light illuminates, check tire pressure and adjust as necessary. After adjusting the tire air pressures, it may require some time for the warning light to go out. If the warning light remains illuminated, drive the vehicle at a speed of at least 16 mph (25 km/h) for 10 minutes, and then verify that it goes out.
