Clearing DTC [Auto Light/Wiper Control Module]
2011 Mazda RX-8 Sport, 1.3 2SECTION Clearing DTC [Auto Light/Wiper Control Module]
- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
- Select "Self Test".
- Select "Modules".
- Select "LCM".
- When using the PDS (Pocket PC)
- Select "Module Tests".
- Select "LCM".
- Select "Self Test".
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
- Verify the DTC according to the directions on the screen.
- Press the clear button on the DTC screen to clear the DTC.
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and wait for 5 s or more .
- Perform DTC inspection. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [AUTO LIGHT/WIPER CONTROL MODULE] .)
- Verify that no DTCs are displayed.
