Relay Block Removal/Installation [With Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System]
2011 Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, 2.3 3SECTION Relay Block Removal/Installation [With Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System]
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the following parts:
- Driver-side front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Driver-side front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Hood release lever (See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Shift knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Console (See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Lower panel (See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Knee bolster (See KNEE BOLSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the nut and clip.
- Disconnect the connectors.
- Remove the nut and clip.
- Remove the relay block from the bracket.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
