Ignition Switch Removal/Installation [Without Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System]
2011 Mazda 3 Mazdaspeed, 2.3 3SECTION Ignition Switch Removal/Installation [Without Advanced Keyless Entry And Push Button Start System]
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Detach the tab.
- Pull the pin in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and release the lock.
- Disconnect the ignition switch connector and key interlock solenoid connector.
- Remove the tabs.
- Remove the ignition switch from the steering shaft.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
