DESCRIPTION

When replacing a keyless entry remote transmitter battery, take caution or transmitter damage may occur.

To avoid damaging the keyless transmitter during battery replacement, make sure to follow the service points shown below.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT SERVICE POINTS

1. Before opening the transmitter for battery replacement, touch a metal object to ground static electricity from your body.

2. Replace the battery with clean and dry hands.

3. Do NOT touch any of the circuitry on the transmitter.

4. Replace with designated battery.

5. Do NOT install the new battery with its polarity reversed.

6. Verify proper operation of the keyless entry remote system.
