Windshield Wiper Motor Removal/Installation

2010 Mazda 5 Sport, 2.3 L, StandardSECTION Windshield Wiper Motor Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the windshield wiper arm and blade. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
  3. Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the center cowl grille. (See CENTER COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Remove the cowl panel. (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  6. Remove the bolts.
  7. Move the windshield wiper motor in the direction of the arrow, remove the securing dowel from the bracket, then remove the windshield wiper motor.
  8. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
