- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the column cover. (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the ignition key illumination. (See IGNITION KEY ILLUMINATION BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the windshield wiper and washer switch connector.
- Remove the screws, then remove the windshield wiper and washer switch.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
