Engine Oil Level Inspection

- Position the vehicle on level ground.
- Warm up the engine.
- Stop the engine and allow approx. 5 minΒ before continuing.
- Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the dipstick and verify that the oil level is between the F and L marks on the dipstick.
- If the oil level is below the L mark, add oil.
NOTE:- The TYPE A dipstick is graduated in 0.5 L intervals as a reference for oil replenishment.
- Install the dipstick.
- Install the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
