2010 Mazda 5 Sport, 2.3 L, StandardSECTION Trunk Compartment Light Switch Inspection

NOTE:
  • The trunk compartment light switch is built into the trunk lock.
  1. Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
  2. Disconnect the trunk compartment light switch connector.
  3. Verify that the continuity between the trunk compartment light switch terminals is as indicated. See Fig 1.
    • If not as indicated, replace the trunk lock.
