Parking Brake Lever Removal/Installation: Notes

- Remove the main silencer. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] .)
- Remove the heat insulator.
- Remove the under cover (rear).
- Remove the second-row seat. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front seat. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the center console. (See CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the center console bracket as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the front scuff plate. (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the front side trim. (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear scuff plate. (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the B-pillar lower trim. (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table in illustration.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, inspect the parking brake lever stroke. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER INSPECTIONΒ .)
