DTC B1873 DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC B1873 Hazard warning switch input circuit short to ground
DETECTION CONDITION  Short to ground in wiring harness between BCM and hazard warning switch.
POSSIBLE CAUSE 
  • Hazard warning switch connector or terminals malfunction
  • BCM connector or terminals malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between hazard warning switch terminal D and BCM terminal 3W
  • Hazard warning switch malfunction
  • BCM malfunction
